Hawthorne Park[edit]

Hawthorne Park is a public park maintained by the City Of Surrey. The park has many entrances that can be accessed on foot or by vehicle however the park's main entrance is located along 144th Street and 104 Avenue in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, .The park has a perimeter of 3.055 kilometers and an area of 0.23 square kilometers (as determined by COSMOS). The park includes a water park, playground, picnic area, numerous nature trails and ponds. Hawthorne Creek and Bon Accord Creek also flow through the park. Hawthorne park has a diverse ecosystem that contains a variety of invasive and native plants and animals however, this ecosystem is being affected by the surrounding human population's pollution, and the changing climate.
