Segun Toyin Dawodu new article content ... Segun Toyin DAwodu is teh founder of the first website on Nigeria's socio-political issues DAWODU.COM in 1998. He was also one of the early members of a Human Rights group in Nigeria led by Dr. Beko Ransome Kuti, the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights(CDHR). He was one time the organization Representative in the Caribbean.
He was also one time the Vice-President of the African-Trinidad & Tobago Friendship Organization based in Port of Spain, Trinidad with focus on promoting the values and rights of Africans in that region.
As a medical student he led the Nigerian Medical students to several International Federation of Medical Students' Association(IFMSA) General Assemblies, contesting its Presidency in L'Aquila, Italy in 1983. In 1982 in Schloss Wartensee, Switzerland in one of the IFMSA GAs, he moved a motion for the ex-communication and expulsion of the South-African Medical Students' Association(SAMSA) for Apartheid in the then South-Africa.
Dr. dawodu graduated from University of Ibadan Medical school with a medical degree, University of London with a law degree and Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School with an MBA.
