Haimbili Haufiku Senior Secondary School[edit]
Haimbili Haufiku Senior Secondary School is a school in the Ohangwena Region of Namibia, in a Eenhana town.This school open its door first in 1988. Its first principal was Mr.Backen Ndakodja and Mr. Dineinge J. Sheya is the current principal. The develpoment that is taking place at the school leads to high perfoermance of learners at the school bacome the best school in Ohangwena Region.Learners at the school won Bank of Namibia National High School Competition on 18 June 2009.[1].The school scooped the overall best school award in Ohangwena Region and received a floating trophy and a certificate.[2]
The school has grades from 8-12 offering different field of study to learners in grades 11 to 12 and has about 1200 learners.The are different sport activities that learners at the school take part in examole soccer,netball and others. The school prinipal was acused by The Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) of taking schoolchildren to an RDP rally that was held at Eenhana and they were demanding the immediate removal of the principal.
