Yuliana Slashcheva (Russian: Юлиана Слащева; born 9 September 1974, Moscow, Russia) - media manager, PR consultant, general director of Russian media company CTC Media[1]. From 2005 to 2013, head of PR agency "Mikhailov & Partners". Acted as an advisor to Russian politician, billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov during 2012 Presidential campaign[2].

Biography[edit]

Born on September 9, 1974 in Moscow, Russia. In 1996 graduated from Moscow Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences with a degree in marketing.

In 1993, first joined "Mikhailov & Partners" agency, where she worked for 7 years, holding the postion of Director of International Relations. From 2001 to 2004, Yuliana Slashcheva was a corporate communications director of Russian energy investment company ESN Group. In 2004-2005 she was a Partner at BBDO Group in Russia, where she was resposible for creating a PR agency within the group.

In 2005 she came back to "Mikhailov & Partners", where she held the position of company's president. For 8 years she was responsible for general management of the company, and also managed a number of communication campaigns for Russian and foreign clients, GR and IR programs, road-shows, reputation management projects.

In July 2013 the Board of Directors of CTC Media appointed Yuliana Slashcheva the company's CEO[3].

Yuliana Slashcheva won the National Media Manager of Russia Award in 2007[4], was the top ranked head of a communications company by Profil/Kariera magazine in 2012[5]. In 2012-2013, Yuliana Slashcheva was ranked as one of the top 20 most influential businesswomen in Russia by Kompania magazine[6].
