Lango is a mobile messaging platform for iPhone and Android users. Lango allows users to text using icons, visually depicting their text message. Lango icons are represented through brands such as Paul Frank , Adventure Time , NFL Players Association etc. They also include icons based on current news and gossip. Lango has two types of messages, Spark and Flair.

Spark
[edit]When a text is created with Lango, the app interprets the focus of the message, automatically inserting an image associated with the text. The user can change the emphasized word or flip through different images to find just the right one that expresses their true intent. (Peer-to-peer texting)
Flair
[edit]Lango offers word-over-picture, meme-like images that can be shared on Facebook, and Twitter. Users choose a background or insert their own photo, write a slogan and add some ‘flair’ to show exactly what they mean.
