Zelda Classic has always been a tribute to one of the most influential games, Legend of Zelda created by Nintendo. It was developed from the ground up by Phantom Menace (with programming to later be taken over by Dark Nation) to be an exact replica of the original Legend of Zelda NES game. In addition, it includes a robust quest editor that allows development of new, custom, user-made quests that can either follow the traditional classic style graphic format or branch off with new graphics, items, enemies, music and many more customizable options. ^[1]
