Founded in 2007 as the Corporate Events Group by Tony Knopp, Joe Greiner and Aric Haut, SpotlightTMS was initially funded internally,[2] then secured $2.5 million Series A round funding in October 2010, led by Point Judith Capital that allowed them to expand and dramatically change their positioning in the sports ticketing industry. Brian Bedol also invested based on his belief in Spotlight's value and rapid adoption through teams.[3]
