{{infobox person/Wikidata}} René Gombault ( 1871 - 1971 ) was a botanist and mountaineer French . It was official, and having spent his entire career at the Customs , René explored Bayona (1911) and Cambo (France) (1919) to discover the Pyrenees .It was also the author of several works on archaeology and prehistory Pyrenees, published in the "Bulletin de la Societe des Sciences, Lettres, Arts de Bayonne", between 1914 and 1970.
