PlanIt Texas Coallition new article content ...
The PlanIt Texas Coallition was a group of concerned citizens and organizations which formed in the early 1990's to deal with the growing conflict between land owners and environmental agencies over the preservation habitat for the endangered Golden Cheek Warbler. The groups work was instrumental in the development of state legislation which allowed land owners tax exemption for wildlife maintenance on par with the exemptions already offered for agricultural enterprise.
