I'm A Gangster #404 is an American bucking bull (d. May 12, 2014).[1]
Background
[edit]I'm A Gangster is an American Bucking Bull breed who has a registered breeder's certificate #10056459.[2] I'm A Gangster was sired by High 007 Yippy High Yea, and his dam was High X23 Boo Hoo. Yippy High Yea was sired by 631 Rock the Cradle and his dam was High 51 Blue Moon. Boo Hoo was sired by 329 Houdini and her dam was High 805 Rem Bo.[3] Houdini is known as the greatest sire of bucking bulls.[4]
I'm A Gangster's last owners were partners Jeff Robinson with Mike and Cherie Cappello.[5] They purchased him from another North Carolina stock contractor named Tom Teague in August of 2010. I'm A Gangster was bred in Canada and was as known as Bad Dream until Teague bought him and changed it to I'm A Gangster.[6][1]
Career
[edit]Season 2011
[edit]On January 7, at Madison Square Garden, in New York City, I'm A Gangster (Uncle Buck last year) bucked off top bull rider J.B. Mauney in 1.95 seconds in the final round and received a bull score of 46.75 points. That is an excellent bull score, but livestock director Cody Lambert still felt his score was too low. "He bucked as rank as any bull we’ve had in the PBR – maybe ever," Lambert said. "The judges scored him 46 and three-quarters. It should have been 48. … Today was one of those special [days]. Not many bulls have ever bucked that hard." Owner Jeff Robinson also agreed with Lambert.[6]
