Charles Paul Trippy III (born September 2, 1984) is American youtuber and bassist for Florida based band We The Kings. Initially known for for his youtube vlog Internet Killed Television which for the first five years starred along side his ex wife Allison Speed. In September 2011 Trippy started standing in as the bass player for We The Kings who's members he has been friends with since childhood. He has since March 2012 been the permanent bassist.

Early life[edit]

Born on September 2, 1984 to Charles "Chaz" Trippy II and Marlene Trippy. He grew up in Bradenton, Florida along with his younger sister, Melissa Trippy. Trippy's father played percussion in the Gregg Allman Band. Trippy attended Lakewood Ranch High School, later he attended the University of South Florida and majored in communications. Prior to joining We The Kings, Trippy was the bassist of band Funny Looking Kid (later renamed Suspense Thriller) from 2001-2005. Ironically We The Kings (then known as Broken Image) opened for Trippy's band during Suspense Thriller's final show.

Trippy began dating Allison Speed in December 2008. They became engaged in October 2009 and finally married on November 20, 2011.
