Clark was born On April 24, 1985 in Bradenton, Florida and has an older sister, Tara, who works for a Marketing company in NYC, and a younger brother who studied music at Belmont University. His parents both played music growing up and Travis has mentioned in interviews that the first song he was taught by his mom to play on guitar was 'Blackbird' by The Beatles.

At age 4 Travis began playing piano and was classically trained for 7 years before his teacher claimed to not want to teach anymore due in part to Clark's changing of songs for recitals. Clarks' teacher, Jan Mason, in a 2010 interview stated that he could see that Travis had songwriting talent and didn't want to hold him down by teaching him to stick to a formula.

Travis attended King Middle School (which is where he and the band influentially named "We The Kings"), Manatee High School, University of Central Florida, and Valencia East Community College. After spending a semester at UCF and a semester studying music at VCC, he traveled to New York City to meet with a management company interested in working with his band We The Kings. In 2006, he and the band were signed by S-Curve Records based in New York and went on to release the groups first album on October 2, 2007. In the Fall of 2012 Travis took a trip out west to Los Angeles to co-write for a week with multiple artists from Atlantic Records, Capitol Records, and Warner Bros Records. After that week he decided to move to LA. In December 2013 he and the band released their 4th studio album entitled "Somewhere Somehow" which Travis created the name for while doing yoga.

On September 19, 2013, he met his wife, Jenny Leigh Robinson, an actress from Orlando, Florida. She is best known for her roles in Iron Man 2, Burlesque, Fired Up!, Glee, and Ted 2. In May 2014 Travis Clark proposed to his girlfriend Jenny Robinson and the two wed on December 30, 2014 at Bella Collina in Orlando, Florida. Both videos of the proposal and the wedding can be seen on Travis' youtube page [2]

In January 2014, Travis started a vlog on his YouTube page, "TravisClarkTV". He posts videos about 4 times a week of he and Jenny's daily life. The couple live in a home in Los Angeles. Also in 2014, Travis began auditioning for TV and Film roles. He landed his first role in a movie produced by Relativity Media entitled "Summer Forever" which comes out in August/September 2015.

Travis began releasing solo songs on iTunes, including "Table For Two" featuring his wife, Jenny [3]

In May 2015, Travis and his wife, Jenny, started a project in which they would video call their fans through FaceTime and Skype, donating portions of the profit to a new charity every month. The month of May has been chosen as a relief organization to those dealing with the tragedy of the Nepal Earthquake Disaster.

On June 4, 2015 Travis uploaded a video on his YouTube channel announcing his wife's pregnancy. [4]
