VISANOW is an immigration law firm headquartered in Chicago, IL. The company was founded by its CEO Robert Meltzer[1] in 1998 and became accredited with the Better Business Bureau in April 2012.[2] As a dot-com corporation, VISANOW relies on a patented online platform to interact with their client base.[3] A current campaign centers on the 2012 Executive Order known as DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), a policy announced by President Obama that will allow some undocumented workers to remain the United States under a 2-year deferred action waiver,[4] and VISANOW was the first immigration law firm to pioneer the web-based technology to complete the entire application process online.[5] The company currently employs about 50 Chicago-based professionals, including immigration attorneys, customer support, and sales staff.[6]
