Joseph A. Camp (born: 05/28/1984) who is better known by his childhood nicknames "Jojo" and "Joey" is a United States satirical artist. He is known for his satirical legal and political campaigns.

Computer Hacking[edit]

During the fall 2009 semester at the University of Central Missouri, Jojo and classmate Daniel Fowler were arrested by the FBI for a series of computer hacking offenses when they allegedly hacked into the computer systems of the university to change grades and steal databases of student and faculty information[1] [2]. Jojo was sentenced to 3 years in federal prison[3].

Talent Management[edit]

In November 2015 Jojo met Tristyn M. Weber while she was busking in Denver, and after some time he started working as her talent manager [4]. Tristyn, whose stage name was Mikki von Weber [5] started seeing tremendous success in the entertainment world. Appearances in Westword Magazine, stage assistant to illusionist John T. Sheets in Las Vegas and numerous high fashion shows negotiated by Jojo.

Jojo enrolled in Cross Purpose Career and Community Development program where he graduated 2019 with a certification in Legal Secretary and started working full time for a law office[6]. After graduation one of his classmates, Cierra F., and him formed "Cierra F's Modeling, llc"[7].

Satirical Presidential Candidate[edit]

Jojo was arrested in August 2016 and convicted of "Attempted Influence of a Public Servant" after making threats of litigation towards a law enforcement agent [8][9]. After he was released from incarceration questions regarding the legality of the harsh nature of the punishment for Jojo for threatening a law enforcement officer with litigation encouraged Jojo to begin his criminal justice reform advocacy on a grassroots level using his marketing and social media savvy. While on parole supervision he learned that he was unable to vote in the 2020 presidential election (or any election for that matter) in Colorado due to the fact that he was technically "incarcerated" pursuant to then Colorado law. Not to be discouraged, Jojo filed his presidential candidacy application with the Federal Elections Commission and started running his satirical, yet very real, candidacy for President of the United States of America called Joey Camp 2020 with the stated intent of stealing votes from major party candidates using the spoiler effect.

Open Secrets quoted Jojo as saying "when I am president EVERYONE will be permitted to vote."[10] Colorado has since restored the voting rights to parolees[11] however, Jojo continues to use his satirical art to criticize public officials and figures.

Satirical Pleadings in the Donald Trump Litigation[edit]

While serving time for the attempted influence of a public servant charge in Colorado, Jojo filed motions to intervene in the Donald Trump travel ban litigation as the fictional persona "Mikki the Mime" [12]. His motions were recognized as artistic by even the presiding judge who politely denied the request of "Ms. Mime"[13].
