Elena Miscodan is the first Romanian ever to reach the highest motorable road in the world by motorcyle: Khardung La, 5602 m. She got there on the 7th of October 2009, riding a Royal Enfield motorcycle, after 11 days and approximately 1800 km. She left from Shimla, on the 27th of September 2009, alone. She got to the Khardung La top without an oxygen tank and without using any other medication.
She was born on the 15th of February 1978 in Oltenita, Calarasi and, as a profession, she is a medical doctor.
Elena Miscodan este primul motociclist roman care, pe 7 octombrie 2009 a ajuns pe cel mai inalt drum accesibil cu vehicule motorizate din lume: Khardung La, 5602 m altitudine. Ea a plecat din Shimla, pe 27 septembrie 2009 cu un Royal Enfield si a ajuns dupa 1800 de km si 11 zile in Khardung La, singura, fara a utiliza masca de oxigen sau medicatie ajutatoare. Ea s-a nascut pe 15 februarie 1978, in Oltenita, Judetul Calarasi, si este de profesie medic.''
