A specialist in off-road racing, he is one of the most successful British driver in 1:10 off-road racing with 18 national titles that included 72 wins (as of 2016) and 192 A-main appearance in the British Nationals in addition to 8 European championships (6 2WD, 2 4WD) and is the only British driver to win an off-road world championship and thus along with Hessel Roskam (in large scale) in 2003 and Ronald Völker (in ISTC) in 2016[1], is one of three drivers to score a rare achievement, a triple in a single year (a national championship, EFRA Euros and IFMAR Worlds in 2005).[2][3] Cragg additionally won in 2004 when it counted toward qualifying for the IFMAR Worlds.
Along with Lee Martin, Cragg is considered by the American magazine, Radio Control Car Action, to be one of the two current foremost drivers in British off-road racing.[4]
