Picture2avi is a shareware Photo slideshow software. The program is designed for converting lots of single images into a video file. It uses an image list as the main interface. The program is used for creating stop-motion animations, time-lapse animations and simple photo slidshows. [1]
It supports image files in the formats BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF and ICO.
Other features are: mirror-effects and image transitions.
The program also has the built-in tool Avigenerate.exe, which creates AVI-videos with Command-line interface parameters. Avigenerate.exe has a different License to Picture2avi and is freeware.
History[edit]
The program used to be freeware, but later a version called "Picture2avi Pro" with additional transition effects became available as a shareware version.[2]

Output: The Programm uses the Video for Windows Interface. The user can choose custom FOURCC-codes.

Picture2avi runs under Windows XP/2003/Vista/7.[3]
