Dr. Ashwin C Gowda(born 15 Nov 1984) is a Assistant Professor , Department of Product Design & Manufacturing, [Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)] <, Bengaluru . He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in the year 2009, he did his M.Tech in Manufacturing Science & Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in 2011, He has completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), India, in the year 2017.
Early life and education[edit]
Ashwin C Gowda was born in a Kannada-speaking Kuruba Family. Ashwin's father's name is Channegowda C who is a farmer and mother Hemalatha B G is a housewife His native place is Shimoga, Karnataka, India. He had received his B.E. in 2009, M.Tech in 2011 and PhD in 2017 from the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). He completed his Ph.D. in 2017 from Department Mechanical Engineering Science at Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
Research and Awards[edit]
Ashwin C Gowda received a Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Award [1] from State Government of Karnataka; Bengaluru in recognition of Education Field in April 2017, professor has published more than 10 journals, and attended various international and national conference. He has recently developed new materials using Carbon Nano Tube Al-B4C Composites by powder metallurgy technique which is useful for the structural applications[2]. Apart from the academic professor engages more time spending with social responsible activities like organizing health camps with free medicines, job fair, planting trees, awareness of climate change, free clothes to weaker section, conducting free classes for rural students. And he has been honored by community peoples in 12 districts in Karnataka in recognition of Social activities.
