The Hon Sir Joseph Walton ... The Hon Sir Joseph Walton (1945 - 1910) was a justice of His Majesty’s High Court.
Sir Joseph was the eldest son of Joseph Walton, of Fazakerley, after graduating in law from London University; he started his career practicing in Liverpool. After several successful years he became the leader of the Commercial and Admiralty Courts.
Throughout his career He held many other positions including extensive practice in House of Lords Appeal cases; Standing Counsel to the Jockey Club; K.C. 1892; before succeeding Sir J. Mathew as a Judge of the King's Bench Division 1901.
