Amit Aggarwal (born October 14, 1982) is a travel entrepreneur and co-founder of online travel company TripFactory. Amit is an IIT Roorkee alumnus.

Previously, Amit has co-founded omni channel online travel booking portal VIA.com (formerly FlightRaja.com), with Vinay Gupta. Amit was CTO at Via.com from 2005 to 2012. Currently, he serves as a Board Observer at Via.com and as a Co-Founder and CEO at TripFactory.[1]

Amit holds a degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Amit started his career as an Analyst at Trilogy.

Amit is passionate about travel & technology and co-founded Via.com along with Vinay Gupta in 2006. Via.com has more more than 100,000 partners across 2,600 cities globally.[2] Via received a funding of 5 million USD from NEA IndoUS ventures in 2007 and 10 million USD from Sequoia capital in 2010.[3] Via.com was acquired by Ebix in 2017.[4]

In 2013, Amit Aggarwal co-founded his new venture TripFactory.com, a customised holiday package provider and search engine designed exclusively for travellers. It is an online travel company for inbound and outbound travel needs. Tripfactory has raised 10 million USD funding from Aarin Capital Partners.[5]
