Ronald Lancaster[edit]

Reverend Ronald Lancaster, MBE, FRSC, CChem, was school chaplain, chemistry and divinity teacher at Kimbolton School and founder of Kimbolton Fireworks, the only remaining manufacturer of display fireworks in the UK.

Early Life and Career[edit]

In April 2013, the Royal Society of Chemistry presented Revd Lancaster with a blue National Chemical Landmark plaque, for 50 years working in the field of pyrotechnics. That will be displayed at Kimbolton School, on the site of Revd Lancaster's original fireworks laboratory.

Revd Lancaster was simultaneously named as one of the Royal Society of Chemistry's 175 Faces of Chemistry[1] .
