Okahao Passion Killer
[edit]Namibian men have develop this mentality of selfishness and need to have their mindsets changed, through being sensitized against passion killings and other forms of violence against women.[1] The fact that Namibian men are killing women is of great concern and it's becoming to serious that it need to betaken in serious consideration. Recently an incident was reported three months back in the Northern part of the country in Omusati region, Okahao.[2]
An alleged love triangle between a woman and two members of the Namibian Defence Force(NDF) on the 29th June 2012, friday morning it was a cruel crime of passion that has sent shock waves through the residents of Okahao in Omusati region.[3]
The 35-years old victim, who is from Ombalantu in Omusati region, Selma Lyetufila Eita was currently working in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration in Okahao. Her fiancee Nangolo,33, the member of Namibia Defence Force, who allegedly travalled from Windhoek to Okahao after he heard rumours that Eita was seen around town with another lover. Friday morning Nangolo was waiting Eita at the nearby school, Nangombe Combined School with the aim of confirming if it's really true that Eita is with someone in her renting. The couples were getting married this coming december.[4] This scene tone was predominantly serious on Timeline of Namibia that day.[5]
