Billy Hughes
Closeup photograph of an emotional 13-year-old BIlly Hughes' face as the character Grid Maule in The Rifleman episode, "The Sidewinder." He is wearing a small, tight black felt cowboy hat with a black leather band and leather lacing around the brim. His scarf is tied small and snugly around his neck, the knot is pulled to the left. His well-cut, tight-fitting leather jacket is dusty from the trail. His trademark chipped tooth can be seen as he says "I didn't come this far to talk," the moment before he slaps Lucas McCain (Chuck Connors) as a challenge to a gunfight for murdering his criminal father years before.
Hughes as the eponymous Sidewinder in The Rifleman, 1963.
