Vernian Process is a musical project formed in San Francisco in 2003 by Joshua Pfeiffer.
Career
[edit]Taking it's name from the works of 19th century author Jules Verne, Vernian Process is a Darkwave band that creates music themed around victorian scientific romance, and its 20th century equivalent steampunk.
In addition to releasing his own material, Joshua has also provided remixes of Nouvelle Vague's "Bela Lugosi's Dead" (from Bande à Part), and Abney Park's "The Wrong Side" (from The Death Of Tragedy).[1]
Vernian Process has also appeared at events performing with Attrition at the DNA Lounge (2006) [2] and Convergence 13 (2007),[3] alongside other notable artists such as, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, and Faith and the Muse.
