  1. A few good Russian-English translators are all we need to make this a viable article. --Cryptic C62 · Talk 17:39, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

  3. First, as a scientist, I find the given description of the problem fairly unrealistic. "It is clearly a well known theory, but almost completely unknown in the West.". Plea-s-e. If the theory is really well-known in Russia, it will be at least somewhat reasonably known in the West. These days knowledge travels very quickly. Still, given the description of the problem given, the article should be retained since it does appear that the theory is notable and is widely covered by reliable sources, namely Russian academic publications. If there is Western criticism of the theory, it should be mentioned too. The only tricky issue here is verifiability, specifically the translation requirements of WP:RSUE. I am not a big fan of this portion of WP:V since translations by reliable sources are rarely available, but it may be appropriate to include Russian quotes and translations (user translations of no others are available) of a few key passages from those Russian sources. 4. Get some peopel to translate the references, and validate that the sources are reliable. If all of that is the case, then bring in the article. Wildthing61476 (talk) 21:03, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
  5. Assuming the translators don't decide its all a mistranslation of some sort of transient spoof - the Russian equivalent of an April fool then yes not every scientific advance starts in the English speaking world. Alternatively flag it as needing improvement and wait for better English sources to appear. Jonathan Cardy (talk) 12:57, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

  7. Yep. Translate the sources through Google, and we'll get a rough idea of what they're saying. Pie is good (Apple is the best) 01:02, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
  8. Try to fix it and per NPOV see if, just maybe, new ideas have emerged in the last forty years. Likely this should be wove into a history of our understanding on these subjects. -- Banjeboi 11:15, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
