Redirect digital imprimatur to the correct section

[edit]

Digital imprimatur currently redirects to John_Walker (programmer)#Fourmilab. This section used to contain the paragraph about the article "The Digital Imprimatur", but this revision moved it to its own section. So the redirect should be "moved"/changed, as it no longer points to the correct section.

I should also check The digital imprimatur; it's mentioned in the revision history of the aforementioned redirect. And I don't entirely understand how redirects work; do we have two redirects pointing the same place, or a redirect to a redirect (I don't believe it's that second case, as that was the context in which the second redirect was mentioned in the revision history).

[edit]

The Business_logic_and_tiers/layers section of the article at the very least has an image of the 3-tier architecture. It's questionable as to whether or not the entire section refers to N-tier architectures; I haven't read the section yet. So I'll need to check out the guidelines for "main article" hatnotes (? no clue if that's the correct term; it resembles those hatnotes at the top of an article at least), perhaps there are other options than "main article". It could potentially just be added as a "See also".

Linking to diffs (in edit summaries)

[edit]

Help:Diff has a section about using Special:Diff, which can be placed in edit summaries.

Before I would usually just look at my contributions and I found some way to get the plaintext of the edit summaries. I think (hope) the above link will be enough information for me to go off of next time.
