[edit]Gabe Emms was born on July 16, 2006, in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Growing up in a supportive and active family environment, Gabe showed an early interest in sports and academics. He attended Bedford Public School for his elementary education, where he began to develop his athletic skills. His passion for sports continued to flourish at Stratford Central Middle School, where he was an active participant in various school sports programs. Finally, Gabe completed his high school education at Stratford District Secondary School (SDSS), where he continued to excel both academically and athletically. In the fall of 2024, Gabe Emms will begin his studies at the University of Western Ontario, pursuing a degree in Economics. His decision to attend Western University aligns with his academic goals and his passion for understanding economic systems and their impact on society. Gabe is eager to begin this new chapter in his life, combining his athletic pursuits with his academic aspirations.
Family
[edit]Gabe's family has been a constant source of support throughout his life. His father, Christopher Emms, and his mother, April Smith, and great uncle Hap Emms have always encouraged his pursuits. His sister, Summer Emms, shares a close bond with him, often participating in family activities. The Emms family enjoys spending time together at their cottage in Southampton, engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, boating, and exploring nature.
Athletic Career

However, at the age of 14, Gabe made a pivotal decision to focus exclusively on soccer, recognizing his potential and passion for the sport.
Gabe's soccer journey led him to play for the London Whitecaps U14 and U15 teams in the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL). He then joined Kitchener Academy's U16 and U17 teams, where he continued to hone his skills and gain valuable experience. Currently, Gabe plays for the London Whitecaps U21 team, where he continues to showcase his talent and dedication to the sport.
