Rabindra Jha (Nepali: रवीन्द्र झा), is a Nepalese comedian, actor, scriptwriter and drama director known for his work in Nepali entertainment industry . He is commonly known as Munna from his hit film, Jatra.[1][2] and Jatrai Jatra[3][4]
Career
[edit]Jha is the actor of the famous Nepali movie Jatra. He plays a role of Munna and he is popular with his dialogue "Sun lai setoo pare vane ta chandi banxa" which literally means "When Gold is whitened it turns into silver". He has debuted with "12 Nepali Ek Chihan".He became famous after movie Jatra. His favorite color is White, Black, favorite movie is Kaanchhi, favorite music is Ma ta aba risauchhu boldai bolina, favorite food is Nepali Food, favorite place is Janakpur. He has recently been involved in movie Sunkesari, Kohalpur Express, Jatrai Jatra, Sherbahadur, Dui Rupaiya. Rabindra Jha has also acted in a comedy Nepali horror movie Sunkesari in 2018. With Jatrai Jatra becoming the super hit in Nepali movie industry. He was working in Radio DramaSangorandHilkor as skript writer and later executed as director, which he left in 2017. He is currently working Nepal Film Industry. He had also acted in other famous maithali films like Pritam, Kanya Putra with his wife Priyanka Jha. His newly coming movie, Password shooted at London and surround locations in UK. The movie essay the struggle for bring back of Nepali monuments, which were stolen to foreign countries. Movie also stars Anoop Bikram Shahi, Chhulthim Gurung, Rabindra Jha, Buddhi Tamang and Bikrant Basnet. Movie marks an acting debut for Lisha Sunar and Parii Rana including Sunny Leone as a special appearance.[5]
