Ekptotoi Aggeloi(Έκπτωτοι Άγγελοι in Greek), which translates in English as Fallen Angels are a Greek Rock/Gothic band. Members come from Athens.

History[edit]

The Early years(1995-2001)[edit]

Ekptotoi Aggeloi was created in 1995 from Harris Fotiadis(Vocals,Guitar) and Chris Rock(Drums).In 1996 they add Kostas Mpokolas(Bass Guitar)a school mate.The band began playing locally around the city, playing a mix of both cover songs and original songs.An unreleased four-track 1998 demo tape, Aisthimata(Feelings) was the band's first recording.The style of music played on the demo is a punk-hard rock. In 2001 the band broke up and all members went their separate ways into various projects.

The Single(2004)[edit]

At 2004 Harris and Chris reformed the band adding Bob Nikou(Bass guitar) they release their first single "Νιώσε τη Στιγμή"(Niwse th stigmh-Feel the Moment)which was released with Melon Music Records in 2005.The Single hit the Greek charts very quickly reaching the 8th place for weeks,thing that was very difficult and still is for a rock band.The track "Niwse th stigmh" did play in almost every radio station,so the band did start touring all Greece and sometimes supporting other famous Greek Rock bands adding also Paul Morfis(Keyboards)a friend of Bob.

Change of Musical style and break up(2007)[edit]

In 2007 Harris start working on their new songs changing the music style of the band from Punk/Rock To Gothic/Rock adding dark themes lyrics and melodys .Away from the Punk rock sound of the previous cd single the band start recording their First album.After recording their first four songs the band broke up again after a big fight between Harris and Chris.

The band reforming again(2010)[edit]

After 3 years Harris and Chris decide to reform the band again adding 3 new members Chris Dogiakos(Guitar) Nikos Farsatis(bass) and George Antwniou(Keyboards)and continue recording their new album.
