Gianluca M. Girard (full name Gianluca Maria Girard), born 1969, is an Italian Executive in the digital, e-commerce and omnichannel for various segments (luxury, fashion, retail and services) in B2C Business-to-Consumers and B2B Business-to-Business.

Career

Gianluca is the E-commerce General Manager at ALGHANIM INDUSTRIES [1] with responsibility of P&L and end-to-end on line business in Kuwait and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Xcite.com [2].

Prior to joining Alghanim Industries, Gianluca worked as e-commerce director at several companies, including TALLY WEiJL [3] (Switzerland), GUESS [4] (Switzerland) and BVLGARI [5] (Italy, US). Notable is his global experience of 18+ years in E-commerce and Internet, including the responsibility of New Technologies (Bvlgari) after his initial career with Accenture.

Gianluca received a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering (MSEE) from Turin’s Polytechnic[6] (Italy) from 1989 to 1996, the European Engineering Certification in 1996 (Italy), business courses at SDA Bocconi in 2000-2002 (Italy), completing a full year of studies as Ingenieur Civil en Electronique at the Université Catholique de Louvain[7] (Belgium).
