Graeme Fuller is a former professional windsurfer and published author living in Hythe. Throughout his career he has courted controversy with his outspoken views on the length of windsurfing boards, the set up of windsurfing equipment and the theory that booms should be set at waist height[1].
In recent years, Graeme Fuller has been acknowledged amongst his peers as the inventor of the stand-up paddle board or SUP.
In 1987 Graeme received considerable critical acclaim [2] for his seminal work on the theory and practice of windsurfing, "Let's Go Windsurfing"
Graeme Fuller is commonly known as "Grumpf" among the windsurfing and sailing community.
