Islamabad is capital of Pakistan. Many tourist comes here for enjoying their time. it is a moderately populated city. the city is situated Pothohar plateau.

Faisal Mosque:[edit]

Faisal mosque is one of biggest mosques in Asia and its architecture is very unique and beautiful. the mosque is at the foot of margalla hills which make it more beautiful.

Hiking trails of margalla:[edit]

There are fewer of world capital in which are blessed with natural beauty of small hills as well as ground area. there are 6 trails on margalla hills. But trail 3 and trail 5 are most famous in these trails. And all these trail mountain are covered with trees.

Pakistan Monument:[edit]

Pakistan monument is situated on shakarparian hill in Islamabad. it show the history and hard work of Pakistani heroes who work for the freedom of Pakistan.

Saidpur Village:[edit]

Saidpur village is situated in margalla hills. there is a Hindu temple of 16 century called "Rama Mandir".

Lok Virsa Museum[edit]

Lok Virsa Museum (in Urdu) or heritage museum is the biggest museum in Pakistan. it contain Virsa Research & Publication Centre, Lok Virsa Library, Sufis and Shrines Hall, and Pakistan National Museum of Ethnology.

Rawal Lake:[edit]

Rawal lake is an artificial water reservoir for the city of Islamabad. there are 15 type fishes in the lake. And you can also do fishing after taking permission from authorities.

Shrine of Bari Imam is located in Noorpur Shahan, Islamabad. and this place is famous for its urs celebration.
