Introduction

Rajpath club was established in the year 1975 with the purpose of providing the people of Ahmedabad with the best facilities of recreational clubs and activities. The club consists of all activities ranging from indoor activities to outdoor activities. The club also holds events in order to provide their members with extraordinary experiences. The club has been spread over an area of 65000 sq. yard and has the facilities of full day activities, Accommodations, Restaurants and much more. Currently the club has 5 designations in the management committee and Shri jagdishchandra bhailalbhai Patel as the president of the club. The other members in the committee consist of the senior vice president Dr vikram K Shah, Vice president Shri Bipin N Patel, Hon. Secretary Shri Mishal I patel, Hon. Jt. Secretary Shri sunil c Patel, Hon. Jt. Secretary Shri Raxesh C Satiya and the treasurer Shri Fenil R Shah.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFIT

Being a member of a club can provide a lot of benefits such as club offers and much more. If the club has an event that is supposed to take place then it provides the members the type of services that are not provided to non-members of the club. Memberships can be based on the type of position a person holds. A person who has become the member of the club can get entry to the club anytime but for the guest it is not the same certain amount of entry charges are charged to guests for entering the club which is not charged to the member of the club.

ACTIVITIES

Raj path club hosts a variety of activities for both members and guests. The main aim of Raj Path club is to touch the spirits of their members by designing every element of the club in such a way that members feel at home along with the warmth of their welcome, the club truly is successful in achieving their aim.The warmth can be felt in almost every element of the club like working out in the rich sporting ground, while playing tennis or splashing your way in the amazing swimming pool. The Raj Path club also ensures the quality of activities that takes place in the club. The activities that take place in Raj Path club are as follows:

·        Swimming:

With best in class swimming pool along with the specially trained coaches its just becomes a dream like thing to just spend an evening relaxing in the pool with family.

·        Billiards and pool:

Along with the Rock music always on in the background it’s sometimes necessary to just spend some time playing pool with friends.

·        Library

The book ranging from Science fiction to Satire, Drama, Action, Adventure, Romance, Mystery, Self Help, Horror, Mystery. You just name the book and there are high chances that it will be available in the Raj Path club library. By chance they don’t have the book you are looking for which is true in very rare case by just requesting the librarian it can be added to the library.

·        Children Park:

A park specially designed just for children where they can just peacefully play without being disturbed.

·        Aerobics and Acupressure:

Aerobics and acupressure sessions conducted under the guidance of experts.

·        Power Yoga:

As we all are aware of the health and mental benefits of power yoga. Power yoga is taught by experts in Raj Path club.

·        Kerala Spa:

Spa treatments offer a variety of mental and health benefits. The Raj Path club has found out the ancient methodologies of spa from south by digging deep in the southern part of India. The specialty of having a spa treatment in Raj Path club is that they have experts from all over Kerala that know the ancient art of Spa treatment. They use ozonized water in spa treatments that acts as a powerful sanitizer that destroys most of viruses and bacteria present in the spa water.

Since its incorporation Raj Path club has hosted large number of events. The Raj Path club is a center for event hosting in Ahmedabad. The Raj Path holds a reputable position in event hosting due to its excellent services. Upcoming events in Raj Path club are as follows:

·        20% of tariff + GST of full tariff if cancelled before 30 days

·        30% of tariff + GST of full tariff if cancelled before 24 hours

·        100% of tariff + GST if cancelled within 24 hours

Accommodation review by guest/members:-

1.      ROOM SERVICE NOT UP TO THE MARK

The rooms and the location of the club are excellent. As far as possible we stay here whenever in Ahmedabad. The only problem we found was with the room service, you have to call them at least three to four times before you are attended to.

The club facilities are good and the restaurant food is also good. Definitely worth staying when you are visiting Ahmedabad

2.     Skip it and find a regular hotel

It is a country club first and not a hotel, and it shows. The club facilites seem extensive and well cared for, but the accommodations are another story. Rooms are big but service is slow and not friendly. Nothing worked in my room and the response from the front desk was non existent. Being a club, be advised of activities, lound noises, and music late at night and early in the morning depending the regular club activities. All in all, stay here only if you must, There are much better accommodations in regular hotels in town.

3.     Very good ambience and food.

This property is made for the members only. No walk in customers are allowed. We are visiting this place very alternate day in the morning. Very good quality breakfast . Need to add more varieties for Break fast menu.

4.      Rajpath - Unique Club

Rajpath Club is the oldest and awesome club running in Ahmedabad. Its maintained uniquely and giving facilities like restaurant, gym, pool, library, marriage ceremony hall, rooms, party lawn. It was marriage ceremony when we visited it first. Awesome hospitality and services provided here. Must visit for celebration of any occasions.

5.      Good for a club, wish they had Non Vegetarian food.

A Very Spacious place with big lawns, feels like an economical retreat with a great GYM, Pool, Jacuzzi, Lawns a good South Indian food and north Indian food. They have a good running track and sport facilities too. It is a famous for hosting weddings and is very happening during Garba!

Restaurants

Ahmedabad is very famous for its food. It’s said that Gujarati’s are famous for eating food. The city offers a lot of different varieties of cuisines which include North Indian, Italian, Chinese, Lebanese, Mexican and many more. Some places serve all cuisines and Rajpath Club is very famous and is well known for the food they serve. This family club gives you many options ( as in cuisines) . The club has 5 restaurants which work independently and which are serving different international and local cuisines.

The various restaurants there at Rajpath are:-

1.     DalChinni

·        Open from 11-3pm and 7-11pm everyday.

·        It serves Chinese and Indian cuisines.

·        Seating : 100 persons.

2.     The Kitchen

·        The kitchen is open from 7am-3am everyday.

·        Its famous for its late night snacks.

·        It has outdoor as well as indoor seating and can accompany 140 persons.

3.     Score Restaurant

·        It is open from 7-10am and 5-10 pm and is located in the new sports complex. ( Rajpath Arena)

·        It basically serves snacks.

·        Seating : 40 persons.

4.     The Mad Chef

·        It is a full-fledged restaurant which offers international cuisine.

·        Its open from 7-11 pm everyday and On Sundays as well as public holidays its even open during the lunch hours which are 11-3pm.

GUEST CHARGES

For improving the well-being of individuals there has been a limitation implemented by the club administration for guest Section. Every one of the GUEST coming to visit the club would be charged @ Rs.10/ - per section. (upto 4 visitor @ Rs. 25/-per guest guest, 5 to 10 guest Rs.75/-per guest and from 11 or more will be charged Rs.150/- per guest from 1st april to 30th June of year).After 30th June on Sunday's and public holiday's guest charge for upto 4 guest @ Rs. 10/ - per guest, 5 to 10 guest Rs.30/-Per guest and from 11 or more will be charged Rs.60/ - per guest. A prior consent will be required from the Club before 24 hours for guest section surpassing 4 guest. No guest might be permitted with the junior members, member's son and Senior members.

NOTE: GST@18% will be applied at the above guest charges.
