Mohamed"Rida" Ali Messaoud is a retired Algerian footballer. he started his playing career with hamra annaba in algeria, and while playing for the Algerian team in a friendly game in 1976, he impressed some PSG observers and eventually signed him as an amateur. after a friendly match he played for PSG in marseille , he was invited by vitrolles(lower division) club and signed on by them without his authorisation. subsequently, in february 1977 he was suspended for holding two licenses. this made PSG loan him to [olympique ales].at the end of season 1977-78 Ali Messaoud was signed by O.Ales permanently, he played for them until 1980. in 1980 he moved to Hyeres FC (lower division), he played for them until his retirement in 1990 at the age of 37. Ali Messaoud was also an Algerian international, he played for his country 16 times between 1974 and 1976.
