The Patrick Henry Center for Individual Liberty (PHC) is a conservative non-profit organization based in Manassas, Virginia. The Patrick Henry Center works with grassroots citizen activist groups to promote the principles of individual liberty, limited government, limited taxes, constitutional rule of law, states' rights, free market economy, provide for the common defense, and protection of national sovereignty.[1] In the past PHC has advocated conservative principles through its programs; Whistleblowers, Broadcast, and Student Liberty Alliance. Additionally, PHC is active in preserving the memory of Patrick Henry through the Patrick Henry Legacy program.[2] This includes providing grants to the historical sites of Patrick Henry and funding reenactments of the Liberty or Death speech.

Gary Aldrich, the founder and president, started The Patrick Henry Center shortly after the release of his first book, Unlimited Access: An FBI Agent Inside the Clinton White House. Aldrich's book argued that President Clinton created national security problems through a lack of enforcement of the procedures and protocols in the White House regarding clearances, sensitive documents, and National Security generally.
It was in the aftermath of the release of this controversial books that The Patrick Henry Center was launched. Initially the organization was geared towards providing resources to individuals who "blew the whistle" on government corruption. PHC has also been active in promoting conservative ideas on college campuses and protecting students' liberties.
Recently PHC has turned its focus to citizen activist groups. The Patrick Henry Center has sponsored rallies such as the 9.12.09 March on Washington, several Code Red Health Care demonstrations, the National Tax Day Tea Party on April 15th, 2010, and the Stand with Arizona event in Tempe, Arizona on May 29, 2010.
