Birding Adventures or BATV is a birdwatching television show that is broadcast on various television networks in the United States. The show premiered in January 2009 on two local TV networks, Fox Sports Florida and Comcast Sports South. From July 2009 until end of June 2010, the show migrated to the national feed of Fox SportsNet, as well as being syndicated on the Untamed Sports network and by the R&R network.

Birding Adventures features a blend of adventure, birding, wildlife and travel. From January 2010, the camera and optics manufacturer, Nikon, assumed title sponsorship of the show and the show was renamed Nikon's Birding Adventures[1]. Hosted by a South African wildlife guide, James Currie, each episode features an exotic birding destination, local cultures, local wildlife, local birding guides and the quest for a specific "Golden Bird". Each "Golden Bird" is either exceedingly rare, elusive or enigmatic in its own right. "Golden Birds" that have featured on Birding Adventures include amongst others, Ridgway's Hawk, Great Green Macaws[2], Florida Scrub-jays and California Condors.

Destinations that have featured on Nikon's Birding Adventures include Guyana, Florida, Suriname, California, Portugal, Australia, New Jersey, Panama, Costa Rica, Belize, the Dominican Republic and Texas.
