Jonathan McLear (born July 27, 1980 in Winfield, Illinois) is an American composer, public school music teacher at West Aurora High School in Aurora, Illinois and the Director of Music at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, Illinois.

Education[edit]

McLear received a Bachelor of Music degree in 2002 from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. There, he studied with Eric Johnson (choral conducting) and Robert Sims (voice).
