The True Story behind the movie[edit]

This movie is based off a true story that happen back in the day. With how many people showed up to church they grew so big they put a tent up on the beach and a lot of other hippes and younger kids would show up. There were a lot of baptisms that happen in the Pacific Ocean[3] where they were located. Before all of the baptisms happen it began with the struggle of bringing new people, mostly because they were hippies and back than hippies were just drug addicts trying to find the truth so in church they weren't looked at with good judgment. The pastor at the church was hesitant at first but warmed up to the point when the haters didn't want the hippies walking with their dirty feet on the new carpet. The pastor stood at the door and washed everyones feet before walking in. [4]

Production[edit]

The directors behind the movie are Jon Erwin and Brent McCorkle who worked with the Kingdom Story Company. With the writing credits belonging to Ellen Vaughn, Greg Laurie, Jon Gunn, and Jon Erwin.[5] Something most of us never think about is how much did the movie cost. With how well this movie played it cost them 15 million[6] to make with a profit of 30 million as of March 19th 2023.[7]
