Andromeda Herseth is one of the three leaders and founders of the Triple A Crime Ring, a member of the so called "Golden Trio", and the youngest daughter of the Herseth family, a business, political, and criminal dynasty. The Triple A Crime Ring was founded in 2012 by Andromeda and the other two members of the Golden Trio, Audric Ackerman and Annemarie Manet. One of several prominent rings in Los Angeles, the Triple A Ring is the most recent, and has grown rapidly in both power and reputation. Triple A is also unique in its larger inner circle, and in being the only Los Angeles based crime ring not based on a family line (as opposed to the Murdoch, Clarence, or St. Romain rings). Most of the members of the Triple A Ring also have reputations independent from the ring. Audric Ackerman, Jehan Desjardins, and Kiefer Marsden all, obviously, have a prolonged history in the supernatural crime world, and connections to various other powerful organizations, such as the Black Cathedral Sun Cult, the Saint Romain Crime Ring, and the Clarence Crime Ring. With the exception of Elijah Moore, Cecily Taylor, and, possibly, Rivka Morgenstern, all associates of Triple A had a significant criminal past prior to joining the ring. Many members also have connections to powerful and elite families, such as the Windisch-Salviati line, the Saint Romain family, the Morgenstern family, and the Herseth family, though these connections are in various states of viability.

Andromeda Herseth is the second youngest member of the Triple A Crime Ring, and one of its three leaders. Her criminal career is believed to have begun in her teen years, with criminal contacts of her family's. While her personal specialty is believed to be blackmail related crimes, she has been part of planning and carrying out most of Triple A's major crimes, which have a wide range, and has also been individually charged with assault, theft, murder, and other crimes.

Early Life and Family

Andromeda was born to Caroline Lillian Herseth and Richard Andrew Herseth on January 7, 1995. She was their second and last daughter, and younger sister to Maryann Elizabeth Herseth, who was older than her by nearly a decade. At the time, the Herseth family was already famous for its political and business influence. Caroline Herseth owned and managed Life and Liberty Insurance, a multimillion dollar company, which would become a multibillion dollar one within the next decade. Richard Herseth was a Republican congressman, and would run two more congressional campaigns and one presidential one, prior to the Herseth scandals.

The Herseths were, at the time, a well respected family with a substantial fortune, a significant history in both business and politics, and often boasted of roots dating back to the American Revolution. Their home life was the subject of frequent but not particularly in depth articles, especially during Richard's various campaigns. These articles placed an emphasis on the careful balance Caroline Herseth maintained between dedicating herself to her business and being a caring mother to her children ("Don't let anyone tell you it isn't possible to have it all," She says in one, "My business has brought me great personal joy and satisfaction, but there is nothing more satisfying to me than my family. My children and my husband are all that matters to me, in the end"), and on the great intelligence and diverse education of the Herseth children, printing, at various times, the grades and extracurriculars of Maryann and Andromeda, as well as quotes about their close relationships with each other and their parents.

Since crimes, including embezzlement and blackmail, committed by the Herseth family, using Life and Liberty Insurance as a cover, have come to light, multiple former employees have come forward with accounts of what it was like to live and work in the Herseth home. These accounts differ greatly from the image given by these articles.

Many of these accounts, primarily those of Lila Benairs and Roxanne Fulco, describe the Herseth home as "cold, loveless, and depressing." Lila Benairs's account states that both Caroline and Richard were rarely, if ever home, that Richard had little contact with his daughters, and was often drunk when he did, and that Caroline mostly communicated with her daughters in "meetings" in her office, which both girls approached with dread. Roxanne Fulco's describes Caroline as "emotionally abusive" and mentions Richard Herseth's alcoholism and frequent flirtations with staff, both of which were later confirmed. She also describes Maryann Herseth as unstable, and violently emotional, saying that she would often physically harm her sister, threaten her, and destroy her things.

Though none of this was known at the time, it has become clear that between the years of 1995 and 2011, when Andromeda was living in the Herseth home, her mother was mostly absent and deeply involved in a criminal enterprise which, according to accounts by Maryann Herseth, she had no qualms about involving her daughters in. Richard Herseth was home rarely, and when he was home, was drunk most of the time. In addition to his business enterprises, he had a mistress, Elise Lamoureau, and a third daughter, Sofia, in an apartment in Maine, and it appears he spent more time in their home than he did in the Herseth home.

All accounts published after the Herseth scandals agree that Andromeda was not close with their parents, and that the attitude between them was businesslike at best and hostile at worst. Her relationship with Maryann has more conflicting accounts, some describing the girls as very close, others describing them as outright physically violent towards one another. At fifteen, shortly after Maryann returned from her first of many elopements, with Hugo Ascher, a young political hopeful, Andromeda began to become involved in a number of public scandals which embarrassed the Herseth family greatly. These scandals ranged widely. She associated with various political and activist groups that opposed Richard Herseth, including but not limited to many LGBTQ+ rights groups, pro-choice groups, socialist and communist groups, anarchist groups, marijuana legalization groups, gun control groups.She also attended parties where criminal activity occurred, and was romantically entangled with men and women significantly older than herself, openly opposed to her father's politics and mother's business, and with significant and well known criminal ties or records. One notable partner during this time was a teenage Helena Reyes, who would later end up working closely with Jace Murdoch. It is unknown when the two met but they dated for several months. Observations of Andromeda's personality and actions suggest that, some, if not all, of these associations had more to do with embarrassing her family than with her actual political alignments or personal interests.

Early Criminal Career

There are no precise records on the beginning of Andromeda Herseth's criminal career. After the collapse of her parent's empire, Maryann implicated her in many of Caroline's crimes. However, given her age at the time and the fact that Maryann, who was much older and implicated by more evidence, was not convicted in connection with her mother, very little effort was made to convict Andromeda.

There are records going as far back as 2008, when Andromeda was 13, of her performing low levels of blackmail on her parents friends and contacts as well as her parents themselves. This couldn't necessarily be considered the beginning of Andromeda's criminal career, as evidence shows this type of crime was fairly common in Andromeda's social circle and in most cases did not forecast a further criminal career.

After a year in boarding school, Andromeda permanently left home at sixteen. It would not be precisely accurate to say she ran away. According to Caroline, at least, her parents believed she had returned to school, when she was, in fact, renting an apartment in Los Angeles with her father's credit card and beginning to build a criminal empire.

Andromeda's criminal career began with her parent's contacts, some of whom she'd blackmailed and others of whom she won over from her mother more honestly. She had also dated and befriended several known high profile criminals in the past year, and so it did not take her long, once she set her mind to it, to set up a small but sturdy criminal operation in Los Angeles. The operation was based mainly off of blackmail and illegal intelligence gathering.

It's difficult to determine the exact size of her crime empire. Even the precise size of Triple A is difficult to map, as significant parts of the empire are blackmail related, and someone being blackmailed is somewhat less likely to complain to the police.

After Andromeda was first publicly implicated in her own crimes in Los Angeles, the Herseth family officially disowned her. Caroline stated that they would investigate and possibly sue Andromeda's previous boarding school, because she believed that Andromeda had been "led astray" by her fellow students. This may not be entirely off the mark as the school was, unofficially, a strict reform school for the disobedient or criminal children of wealthy, conservative families, and it's entirely possible Andromeda met some of her contacts there. Caroline continued to say that she was "deeply saddened" by her daughter's "betrayal" and that she wished the police all the best luck in apprehending her and hoped they could "set her back on the path of God."

However, Andromeda was never apprehended. It is unclear where she went into hiding, though by this time she had enough contacts that it could have been any number of places. There is no evidence that Andromeda was involved in the supernatural crime world during her first months in Los Angeles. What is most likely, though it will be difficult to confirm as Andromeda is well known for being an extremely private person and very little factual knowledge of her life exists so far, is that, once she left her apartment and moved from blackmail to a more involved kind of crime, she happened upon a contact with a connection into the supernatural world and, a very curious person by nature, decided to explore it further.

Formation of Triple A

Many scholars, reporters, and others who study the subject have expressed shock upon visiting Los Angeles at the number of large and well known crime rings in the city. The amount of crime is daunting even for a city of Los Angeles's size. At the time that Andromeda was starting her own ring, the major players in Los Angeles included the Clarence ring, the Murdoch ring, the Saint Romain ring which, despite not being Los Angeles based, had business reaching into Los Angeles, and the enterprises belonging to fae brothers Aedan Sunslayer and Alaster Swiftcrow, along with many smaller rings and enterprises. Though it's unlikely any of these rings would have felt actually threatened by Andromeda's enterprise at this point, she was picking up business and creating contacts at a rate that would have been inconvenient.

One of the other smaller rings being built in Los Angeles was that of Annemarie Manet. Manet's operation was primarily violence based, in contrast with Andromeda's blackmail and information focused operation, specializing in assault, murder, and other violent crimes. Simultaneously, Audric Ackerman was reinforcing and expanding his previous unofficial circle of social influence, constructing it into a more concrete operation, likely in attempts to compete with or gain protection from the Black Cathedral Sun Cult which he had deserted.

Andromeda approached Annemarie Manet, originally with an offer to hire Manet, which Manet rejected, and then with an offer to partner with her. Andromeda and Annemarie, along with Annemarie's brother, Sasha Manet, and Annemarie's previous second in command, Carrie Seward, formed the ring which would serve as a precursor to Triple A.

After combining their two rings, Annemarie and Andromeda's operation was sizable enough to be a threat to larger Los Angeles crime rings. They had hostile encounters with multiple different criminal enterprises. One of these happened to be with Audric Ackerman and his contacts. The conflict escalated, resulting in the assault and endangerment of several of their contacts, until the three agreed to negotiate. Many reports agree that Audric, Annemarie, and Andromeda entered the room to negotiate a truce, while contacts including Carrie Seward and Sasha Manet waited nearby, and left agreeing to unite their operations into one crime ring.

For some time, the three worked from various locations, mostly their own homes and previous bases of operation, and then they moved into the mansion of one of their previous marks and victims. From then on the operation was permanently based in the mansion and it was around this time that the group gained the name of Triple A, though it is not certain whether they coined the name themselves or it was given to them.

Andromeda's role in the operation was very similar to her role in her own operation, one of intelligence gathering and blackmail, though on a much larger scale. Once part of Triple A, Andromeda also became known for her unique negotiation style and the animals that are kept, primarily by herself and Sasha Manet, in the Triple A Mansion.

Triple A acquired many other prolific members over the next few years in various ways, including Kiefer Marsden, a well known criminal from whom they purchased arms, Jehan Desjardins, the son and heir of Achille De Saint-Roman, who originally came to their ring to negotiate and ended up staying on as the official liaison between the two rings, and Rivka Morgenstern, a Los Angeles Times reporter who was writing an investigative article on the ring before being offered a job in it.

The Herseth Scandals

In 2013, shortly after Triple A had become a well established crime ring, a great deal of information was leaked, beginning rumors which eventually led to a police investigation of Caroline, Richard, and Maryann Herseth. The investigation uncovered a criminal enterprise which included embezzlement, fraud, bribery, and several cases of paid killings, going back several decades, using Life and Liberty Insurance as a cover. Many unrelated scandals were also uncovered during this investigation, and leaked to the public, including Richard Herseth's alcoholism, his mistress Elise and third daughter Sofia, Maryann's treatment of her many husbands and her affairs, some with women, on the side, and the unhealthy and, some say, abusive environment in which the Herseth daughters grew up. Caroline, Richard, and Maryann Herseth fled the country.

Maryann Herseth was eventually cleared of all charges, claiming ignorance of her parent's crimes, and, later, claiming participation under duress and citing the accusations of emotional abuse leveled at Caroline Herseth by many former maids and nannies. In her testimony, she repeatedly implicated Andromeda, but the crimes were never added to Andromeda's list of charges, due to her young age and the same possibility of abuse, as well as the fact that she would already serve multiple life sentences if caught for the crimes committed after leaving the Herseth home. Maryann is currently living in Spain with her husband.

Richard Herseth was originally sentenced to five years in prison. The sentence was later commuted to one of financial restitution and six months house arrest.

Caroline Herseth never returned to the country. She is believed to be living in Spain as well, but has not been found. If tried it is believed she could serve a life sentence, given that she is the one accused of the majority of the financial crimes, and the ordered killings.

No one has taken responsibility for the original leaks, and it is possibly that it could be from any number of people in Caroline's organization, but it is widely agreed that the leaks came from Andromeda.

Relationship with Carrie Seward

When Annemarie and Andromeda merged their operations, Annemarie brought her right hand woman, Carrie Seward with her. A relationship rapidly formed between Carrie and Andromeda, though the exact nature of this relationship is unknown. There are many tabloid articles claiming that they were romantic, even more than those claiming Andromeda was in a relationship with other members of Triple A. Former employees have also confirmed that the two were "extremely close" and suggested that they were intimate with each other, however a romantic relationship of any kind has never been confirmed.

Carrie Seward worked with the Triple A crime ring for nearly two years. It should be noted that she was still working for Triple A when, in late 2013, Andromeda brought Cecily Taylor to live in the mansion, and when Elijah Moore joined the couple six months after that. What the relationship was, if there was one, between Andromeda, Carrie, Elijah and Cecily is uncertain. Carrie served primarily as a hit woman for Triple A until 2014. On October 7, 2014, she was killed on what was supposed to be a hit against a former contact who had betrayed the ring. The contact had more security than was anticipated, and Carrie was ambushed, most likely questioned for information about Triple A, though it is not believed she revealed any, and then killed. The contact and all security involved in Carrie Seward's death were killed in notably brutal ways, which Triple A has claimed responsibility for, though which member of Triple A was responsible for these killings is uncertain.

Though no connection has been proven, in the days immediately following Carrie's death, Andromeda was not involved in any meetings which Triple A took, including ones she would typically be present at. This is odd to say the least as Andromeda is typically known for her insistence on attending all significant Triple A meetings, regardless of illness or personal issues. Elijah Moore also took several days off from his work with the Los Angeles Sun, citing personal issues.

Relationship with Cecily Taylor and Elijah Moore

Prior to Cecily Taylor and Elijah Moore, Andromeda's confirmed romantic relationships were all high profile and extremely public, with well known individuals high up in various criminal and social spheres, even if these spheres were ones likely specifically selected to upset Andromeda's parents. Her relationship with Cecily and Elijah is unique in how private it has been, and because, in both the cases of Cecily and Elijah, their most remarkable quality is their association with Andromeda.

Cecily was a former nurse from a large family. She had no criminal background and no particular social clout. She does not enter the public record at all after the age of 12, where her name was printed in a local newspaper because she won the spelling bee. There is no public information about how she began her relationship with Andromeda. In 2013, she quit her job at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center and began living in the Triple A Mansion, though she is still known to volunteer at hospitals and free clinics during her free time. Since then she has been on Triple A's payroll as their official medic. Many of Triple A's former employees express fondness towards Cecily, because she was known for being less intimidating and more approachable than many other associates of the crime ring.

Elijah Moore has slightly more of a public life, though not much of one. He worked as a minor reporter for the tabloid The Los Angeles Sun until early 2015, when he was offered and accepted a position as a crime writer for the Los Angeles Underworld News. It is believed he met Andromeda and Cecily in 2014 while researching an article on her, a task which has, universally, been unsuccessful for reporters. It is unknown how he became incorporated into their relationship. He moved into the Triple A Mansion in 2014 and began work as the crime ring's Public Relations Consultant, though he has not ceased his journalism work. He has never published an article on Andromeda, Cecily, or any member of Triple A, though he has written notably well informed articles on various members of other crime rings, including the Clarence and Murdoch rings.

Any attempts by other reporters to interview Andromeda, Cecily, or Elijah about their relationship have been met with varying degrees of hostility from all three.

The three were married this year in a small and extremely private ceremony. No reporters were allowed in, but rumors state that the guest list was mostly limited to families of the brides and groom (though no members of the Herseth family, other than Andromeda herself, made an appearance), and members of the Triple A Ring. Audric Ackerman, Annemarie Manet, and Jehan Desjardins were all in the wedding party, and rumors suggest that Ackerman gave a particularly lengthy speech.

Relationship with Audric Ackerman and Annemarie Manet

All members of the Golden Trio, the name given to Andromeda, Annemarie, and Audric, are known for being both extraordinarily beautiful and particularly intimidating, as well as for their manner of dress and style during negotiations. The exact relationship between the members of the Golden Trio is not precisely understood. Their professional relationship is clearly strong, but whether they are friendly with each other is uncertain. Various employees have reported vastly different rumors, some stating that the three are extremely close, others stating that they fight amongst each other constantly. Rumors of a romantic relationship between two or all three of them have come up in many tabloids.

Several contacts speak of fights between the Golden Trio which nearly fractured the crime ring. However, in contrary evidence, Annemarie Manet and Audric Ackerman were both in Andromeda's wedding party and gave speeches. Overall, due to the nature of its members, it's unlikely we will know anything certain about the relationship of the Golden Trio for a long time, if ever.
