Eugene Theodorezuta Torngmortey Zuta (born 14 July 1979), popularly known as Eugene Zuta, is a Ghanaian Contemporary gospel, Preacher[1], Songwriter and a Choir Leader .

Early life and education

Eugene Zuta had his Secondary School education at Ghanata Senior High School in Dodowa , Greater Accra Region of Ghana and furthered at the University of Cape Coast. He currently holds Master of Arts in Ministry (Biblical Studies) from Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon

Music career

Eugene Zuta's music career became prominent during his tertiary education. He worked with Echoes of Calvary (A Christian Gospel Group by GHAFES[2]) during his days at University of Cape Coast where he co-wrote some songs on the Calvary Nwom (Songs of Calvary) Album which was released in 2004. The album received massive recognition in the country. It had great hits such as "Okasa[3]" and "Nyame Ye[4]"

Eugene Zuta has worked with many Christian gospel group such as Olivet Voices[5], EmPraise INC[6], Methodist Praise Mass Choir (MPMC). He has also been an associate member of Bethel Revival Choir for more than 15 years[7]. As part of his gospel music journey, Eugene Zuta has also served as a backing vocalist for Nii Okai, for a period of 5 years. Furthermore, he was part of the formation of the Christian Music Association of Ghana[8]

The ChristLife Music is a music group formed by Eugene Zuta and his friends based in Accra.

Eugene Zuta currently has five vocal albums to his credit. "WOYE ONYAME" which is the first, and was released in 2008 . It had hits like "Fame Ye" and "Yebosom Wo". The second was ADORATION (released in 2013) which had hits like "Wo So" and "Se Wo". The third was a live recording album dubbed ADORATION (released in 2015). The fourth was MORE THAN ENOUGH which was released in 2018. The fifth was GOD FACTOR which was released in 2020.

Eugene Zuta is married to Awo Zuta. They are currently blessed with 3 daughters.
