Construction Imaging Systems is a dba for Corporate Computer Systems, Inc. which is a privately held company based in Rocky Mount, NC that develops, sells, installs and supports enterprise content management solutions to the construction industry. Its content management solutions includes document imaging and management, accounts payable document workflow and approval, email management, document retention, file archiving and various information capture products including OCR (optical character recognition) and electronic forms.

The Company was founded by Larry McAdams. The Company was incorporated in 1994 in the State of North Carolina and was the first to deliver a document imaging and accounts payable approval and workflow solution specific to the construction industry.

Construction Imaging Systems released new versions of its Invoice Router Version 3.3 Release 2 and Construction Document Manager Version 3.3 in 2009, In 2010 it released a new versions of its Chameleon Software Version 2.7.

Construction Imaging Systems was named by Constructech Magazine’s as one of its “50 Hottest Companies” in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and several products receive Constructech Magazine’s “Commercial Top Products” awards in 2008 and 2010.

Target Market

The Company sells nationwide to a diverse group of public and private companies with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to multibillion that are involved with the construction industry to include commercial and residential general contractors, mechanical and specialty contractors, heavy highway, aggregate suppliers, architects and property management companies. Even though historically Construction Imaging Systems solutions have been specifically marketed in the construction vertical, it is a viable solution that has been sold to other verticals.

Construction Imaging Systems sells both its own developed content management software solutions and other third party software that compliments it’s enterprise content management offering along with document scanners and archiving hardware.
