Hi! I joined Wikipedia in April, 2019.
I have always enjoyed researching topics of all kinds, but the more I used the internet, the more I realized how little information there was about my main interest, my home country of Cyprus. Much of what little information there was about Cyprus was false. (For example, many “Fun Facts” websites claimed that “Taxi drivers don’t give change in Cyprus” or that “some cafés in Cyprus only serve men” which are both ludicrous!)
My goal is to make information, not only about Cyprus but information in general, more easily accessible and more credible. Please excuse me if my edits are made using mobile devices but my situation with computers is... complicated.
Lastly, I’m not a native English speaker so please excuse any mistakes which I may make (though I do realize that it is completely wrong to have mistakes in Wikipedia articles and try to avoid them as best as I can)
