Guto Naveira was born as Augusto Carvalho Naveira in Brazil on the 11 October 1980. He started painting in 2008 and in the short period of time that he has been painting has achieved many awards such as: -Artist of the month the Mundo Oi web site comics in 2010. -Featured Artist in CINIFEST (Film Festival) in 2010 by Glauber space in Rio de Janeiro. -Exposure: Território Ocupado at Culture Foundation of Mato Grosso do Sul – Brazil – in 2010. -Scenario theater for group Litani in 2010. -Featured Artist Award 2010 3M art. -Winter Festival 2011 in Bonito-MS, four canvas painting live. -Participation Wine Festival – Wine Territory in 2011 -Appeared in the popular television series The Simpsons by Matt Groening. -Pop Art Heaven's Featured Artist of the month
Guto Naveira's Inspirations vary from day to day life but his main focus is of a cow as the central character which is in a psychedelic prism. The person that he looks up to is Romero Britto for Producing incredible art in Brazil which is now known around the world.
By looking at Guto's pictures you can just tell that he loves colours, he took on Pop art because the effects are similar to those of graffiti and cartoon dress.
