David Stephens, part of the David Stephens and Banjolicius band, is a Bluegrass musician who is notable for several of his bluegrass songs which refer to Connecticut and New England. Born in Atlanta, later moving to Alabama at the age of 5, as an only child to a Southern Baptist preacher Father and a Stay at home mom. David Stephens attended college at Troy State University for theatre then attended grad school in Connecticut for puppetry.
