Qiane Matata-Sipu (B.1985)^[1] residing in Auckland, New Zealand, raised in Māngere.^[2] Notable as the winner of 2021 Women of Influence Awards, the Arts and Culture section.^[3] Inventor and co founder of NUKU, ^[4] a storytelling (non-profit)^[5] platform where one hundred indigenous women have their voices amplified and projected through different mediums. "photography, audio podcast, video, live events and now a self-published book."^[4] Reinforcing wāhine (woman/women) and discover the layers of cultural identity and learn to live authentically by transforming thinking, by transferring and gaining knowledge across generations.^[4]

Qiane Matata-Sipu, Cook Island and Māori wahine is a writer and photographer,^[6] perfervid social activist, exhibiting artist and public speaker.^[5]
