Louis Victor Dufrasne (December 1, 1878 – July 1, 1941) was the principal horn player in Cleveland orchestras in the 1920s in addition principle roles in the Chicago Opera, Pittsburgh Orchestra, the NBC Symphony (Chicago) and many others. He also taught at Northwestern University.
Known for endurance and perfection, he was frequently praised in the press (a rarity at that time) and often performed as a soloist.
