Global warming a threat to Kitty Ann mountain the effects can be seen by just looking at the seasons and seeing how long they were over time. Summer used to be 6 months out the year but now is 7 months, winter is now shorter but still cold and snowy. Some nearby ski resorts are filing for bankruptcy because of the change in climate. Some trees like Yellow birch and pine are dying off because it is so hot. And plastic is everywhere at the base of the mountain because of the wind that blows plastic from nearby cities.
