Arizona article stubs that fail WP:GEOLAND[edit]

I am adding these here as I go through them with the hopes of doing a bulk AfD, as they're all sourced to a database that doesn't reliably prove WP:GEOLAND:

It has a cemetery nearby, and I find this ref to a resident. There's a church there. None of this really adds up to anything more than "it exists, and there's a cemetery". Mangoe (talk) 02:44, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Desert Hills, Arizona This one isn't even in the GNIS database, though probably can't include in a bulk delete it since there's prose
Main issue is that it's a CDP. Mangoe (talk) 01:47, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Desert Vista Estates III, Arizona Not just a subdivision, but the third phase of a subdivision. No results for "III", I have to just search "Desert Vista Estates" [11]
  • East Mesa, Arizona Appears to be a subdivision, though this will probably need to be nominated separately as there are a lot of results for east Mesa (sic on capitalisation)
Seems to be just the east part of Mesa. Mangoe (talk) 01:47, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Fennemore, Arizona No results for any locality with the name, though there is a station in a location in West Phoenix on OpenStreetMap. Won't delete, but noting I couldn't really find anything
It was just a point on an ATSF spur. Up for deletion now. Mangoe (talk) 01:21, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Road Junction Windmill, Arizona I have to write something here apart from "Yeah, nah" for those reading this for the first time, but a Newspapers.com search brought up nothing, a Google search brought up directories based on the GNIS, I even asked the corpse of Jeeves and found nothing. It is, literally, a windmill at the junction of two four wheel drive only forest roads (though now there are six solar panels at the site!)

Mobile home parks

Subdivisions/housing developments

Other

Crossings

All appear to be named crossings of rivers, with no evidence of a community ever existing. GNIS's classification as populated places is erroneous. e.g. Jones Crossing

Junctions[edit]

Junctions of two railroad lines or road junctions. None have any indication of a settlement on GMaps, yet to check archives

California places[edit]

Ranches[edit]

Bulk nominating these - I checked and all are either a single ranch or non-notable neighborhood Lightburst (talk) 19:02, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

Stations[edit]

Working on these They are a motley group so will need separate noms, unfortunately. Mangoe (talk) 18:54, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

Houses[edit]

I bunk nominated all except for the two that I indented Lightburst (talk) 20:38, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

Virginia places[edit]

Again just keyword hits, but VA's places were mass-created by Wikipedia's single most prolific editor. Mostly mills, which could have had workers living nearby at some point, and corners like Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Acors Corner, Virginia which was only one county.

Some of the "estates" could be batch candidates. They're mostly late-20th-century housing developments, and any "keep" or "delete" argument would apply equally to all of them. Just watch out for possible exceptions such as CDPs and whatever Glen Roy Estates, Virginia is. –dlthewave 03:29, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
