Gráinne Holland is an Irish folk singer, television and radio presenter and actor from Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Early life
[edit]Gráinne Holland was born in West Belfast to Pauline and greengrocer Harry Holland. She attended Bunscoil Phobal Feirste, an Irish medium school on Shaw's Road.
Musical beginnings (2009–2011)
[edit]Teanga na nGael (2011 – present)
[edit]Gráinne released her debut album, Teanga na nGael in August 2011. The album is a collection of traditional songs in Irish and Scottish Gaelic. Produced by Dónal O'Connor, the recording also featured contributions from a number of renowned instrumentalists and composers including John Mc Sherry and Neil Martin.
