Nicola Selby - Dance Photographer Nicola Selby was born in 1976 and raised in Preston, Lancashire. Nicola was brough up in the world of dance and performing arts working through qualifications to RAD standard in many aspects of dance including ballet. Nicola's dancing carear was cut short by a car accident but since then Nicola has used her passion for dance by combining it with her passion for photography. Nicola has photographed rehersals and performances for many large UK dance companies including The Rambert Dance Company, the Northern Ballet and Ballet Lorent and also international companies such as the Moscow Ballet Le Classicque. As well as live performance Nicola specialises in studio work producing highly dynamic shots of dancers intended to capture a moment never seen normally.
